Word-filled Wednesday

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him, It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” ~ Lamentations 3:25-26 NKJV

We human beings are so impatient. We know what we want, and we know exactly when we want it. RIGHT NOW!. But, God knows better. He has created a world that unfolds according to His own timetable, not ours.

As Christians, we must be patient as we wait for God to show us the wonderful plans that He has in store for us. And while we’re waiting for God to make His plans clear, let’s keep praying and keep giving thanks to the One who has given us more blessings than we can count.

“Grass that is here today and gone tomorrow does not require much time to mature. A big oak tree that lasts for generations requires much more time to grow and mature. God is concerned about your life through eternity. Allow Him to take all the time He needs to shape you for His
purposes. Larger assignments will require longer periods of preparation.” ~ Henry Blackby

Word-filled Wednesday

Then He said to them all, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” ~ Luke 9:23 HCSB

Jesus made a sacrifice for you. Are you willing to make sacrifices for Him? Can you honestly say that you’re passionate about your faith and that you’re really following Jesus? Hopefully so. But if you’re preoccupied with other things or if you’re strictly a one day a week Christian then, it’s time to reorder your priorities.

Nothing is more important than your wholehearted commitment to your Creator and to His only begotten Son. Your faith must never be an afterthought; it must be your ultimate priority, your ultimate possession, and your ultimate passion.

You are the recipient of Christ’s love. Accept it willingly and share it passionately. Jesus deserves your extreme enthusiasm; the world deserves it; and you deserve the experience of sharing it.

This is only one side of it as you can see the frames on the wall are all my artworks. My cross stitch, painting, and spoon collections. Hubby also bought me a CD player so that it was not boring while I am in my art room i can play some music. A friend of mine gave me the flower base with flowers in an antique store. We Have Visitors

Today we have two visitors in our room. She was a Filipina that I met few months ago. She was with her 2 yr old son who are just staying with us for few hours waiting for her husband to come and get them. My son and her son played and enjoy each company. We are also busy singing through the karaoke magic sing that she has. It was fun and after they are gone my son got lonely and cry because no kid played with him. Anyway, everybody have a good time today. How about you?

Word-filled Wednesday

The Lord says, “Forget what happened before, and do not think about the past. Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don’t you see it? I will make a road in the desert and rivers in the dry land.” ~ Isaiah 43:18-19 NCV

Because you are human, you may be slow to forget yesterday’s disappointments. But, if you sincerely seek to focus your hopes and energies on the future, then you must find ways to accept the past, no matter how difficult it may be to do so.

Have you made peace with your past? If so, congratulations. But, if you are mired in the quicksand of regret, it’s time to plan your escape. How can you do so? By accepting what has been and by trusting God for what will be.

So, if you have not yet made peace with the past, today is the day to declare an end to all hostilities. When you do, you can then turn your thoughts to the wondrous promises of God and to the glorious future that He has in store for you.
